You may remember when this happened. It was disgusting and I had hoped it would never happen again. Yesterday I decided to make some scrambled eggs. I cracked the second egg and out popped a solid yolk. I still don't know what the rules are for throwing out things like that, so I just flushed the eggs down the toilet.

As "intense" as the toilets flush in Spain (as described in one of your earlier posts), I would say you are ok. Those eggs were pureed and liquidated before they made it six inches down the sewer. However, I wouldn't make dropping groceries down the toilet a habit. Even though you are a well-intentioned and somewhat uninformed guest in another country, I am sure it would be frowned upon.....

Oh man, I wish the toilet in my apartment flushed intensely! There is the remote chance that if you had tried that in my apartment it would have taken you a few flushes to get rid of the eggs :P
